Couples Therapy
Committed to the success of your relationship
Achieve the relationship you have always wanted.
Couples Therapy/Marriage Counseling helps couples, regardless of marital status or sexual orientation, in recognizing and addressing issues within their relationship. Couples therapy is also an option for couples who don't have any specific problems to address but want to strengthen their relationship.
We all want to be unconditionally loved, cared for, supported, appreciated, heard, accepted, and understood by our loved one. These are all basic human needs that are crucial for the sustainability of our relationship and personal well-being. When any of these needs are unmet, we search for solutions or ways to fulfill them. As a mental health professional, my role is to join couples in this search, and together identify and efficiently overcome the obstacles getting in the way of achieving a fulfilling relationship.
I help couples address the following:
Betrayal, infidelity, or loyalty issues
Communication issues
Arguments, disagreements, or fighting
Preparing for marriage or starting a new family
Relationship building and bonding
Rebuilding trust, friendship, and respect
Navigating stressful situations
Life Transitions
Blended family challenges
Addiction or substance abuse
Parenting conflicts
Challenges and changes related to sex and intimacy
Trauma or abuse
“Do we need therapy?”
